Therefore, it’s essential that the Business Case approach you present (and all of the thinking that goes into it) is both truthful and persuasive. Ultimately, the Project Board will decide if your project is worth the investment. It is the critical information which will enable decision making. Plus, it’s important to keep it updated at the end of each stage of the project. You’ll need to add more detail as the project progresses. Then when the project is in the initiation stage, it should be refined. Initially, you’ll develop the Business Case in an outline form at the start of the project.
